Kalau kita mencoba memasukkan video YouTube kedalam postingan WordPress apa adanya, hasilnya adalah halaman web kita menjadi kacau balau.. nggak karuan. So, gimana caranya memasukkan video seperti di postingan yang ini?
OK, begini caranya. Kita harus mematikan dahulu wysiwyg editor yang ada di wordpress. Secara default, WP memberikan kita “kenyamanan” dengan memberikan text editor yang langsung bisa membuat kita mengetik dengan Visual Rich Text Editor seolah-olah seperti ngetik di pengolah kata kayak Microsoft Word. Padahal, aslinya WP memproses tulisan kita dengan tag-tag html. Nah, yang akan kita lakukan adalah mengembalikan text editor ke tampilan html.
Jangan merasa takut dulu. Gampang kok. Pertama kita ketik dulu postingan kita seperti biasa tanpa menginsert video kita, klik “Save”, jangan “Publish”, setelah itu baru pakai trik ini: kita pergi ke menu Users –> Your Profile. Terus dibagian bawah ada pilihan “Use the visual rich text editor when writing”. Secara default, pilihan ini tercentang (dipilih), nah.. di un-centang aja (d’oh bahasanya.. 
).
Kemudian setelah itu balik lagi ke menu Write –> Post, diatas akan terlihat “Draft”. Itu adalah postingan kita yang tadi kita save. Klik Draft. Postingan kita akan terlihat dengan tag-tag html. Arahin kursor ke tempat kita akan menyisipkan videonya. Setelah itu copy-paste kode “embed” dari YouTube. Nah.. Sekarang boleh di Publish. Kalau mau balikin lagi ke tampilan Visual Rich Text, ya tinggal dicentang aja lagi. Jangan lupa klik tombol “Update Profile”nya.
Jadi, intinya gini. Kalau kita mau insert video, ataupun mau ngedit postingan yang ada videonya, kita mesti mematikan dulu Visual Rich Text Editor.
Update WordPress V. 2.1.x:
Ketika menulis artikel ini, saya masih memakai WP versi 2.0.5. Jika anda sudah memakai versi 2.1.x maka caranya adalah ketika mau memasukkan video YouTube, jangan memakai tab “Visual”, klik tab “Code” untuk masuk ke mode penulisan memakai kode.

Mas Aziz, saya udah coba, awalnya jendela youtube yg tampil pd blog saya Normal. Tapi sekarang knp muncul Menu Search menindih sebagian Screen Youtube, padahal saya tidak pernah menambahkan menu tsb.
