Google memang nggak pernah membuatku berhenti terpesona…
Baru-baru ini Google mengeluarkan (lagi) proyeknya yang bernama Sketchup. Apaan nih? Ini program dari mereka yang bisa didonload disini. Program ini dibuat untuk membuat model 3D yang sederhana, tapi asik, fun habis! Udah gitu, gratis lagi!
Sebetulnya program ini dibuat untuk mendukung Google Earth yang keren itu. Jadi, kalau mau buat, misalnya, gambar rumah kita, setelah jadi bisa beneran dimasukin kedalam foto dari Google Earth. Kereeen. Ya, mungkin foto alamat rumah kita nggak bisa (baca: susah) ditemukan di Google Earth sih, tapi, kita bisa buat model 3D for fun dalam bentuk apa aja.
Kalau udah jadi, kita bisa upload bentuk 3D itu kedalam servernya Google untuk dishare ke seluruh dunia. Kebetulan saya udah cari-cari bentuk apa aja disana, lengkap! Mulai dari Taj Mahal sampai Menara Petronas ada, bahkan pesawat luar angkasa Star Trek sampai Star Wars juga ada disana. Kalau mau cari yang sederhana macam bentuk baut atau mobil (berbagai merek) sih tinggal pilih aja, pokoke lengkap-lah..
Google memang perusahaan unik. Sampai-sampai program sebagus gini dibagiin gratis (ada juga yg berbayar sih, tapi, yang gratisan udah lebih dari cukup kalau mau sekedar fun).

Sebenarnya lagi cari, gimana caranya bisa melihat Google Earth secara 3D, seperti tampak pada demonya.
Saya sudah pake sketchup, sy pengen cr material komponen dan cara menggunakan lighting untuk interior.
